This Hospital Grade Disinfectant is broad-spectrum and combines effectiveness, safety and ease of use with environmental compatibility. Ideal for maintaining a hygienic environment to reduce the transmission of pathogenic micro-organisms through contact with surfaces and equipment.

RelyOn Virkon solution is non-toxic, non-sensitising and biodegradable.  No fumes are produced when mixing, free of aldehydes, phenols and quaternary ammonium compounds.

Easy to mix:

No weighing or measuring - simple accurate dosing in the form of pre-weighted sachets. A unique formulation that combines cleaning and disinfection in one action. An active solution is produced by dissolving tablets or powder in water. Virkon solution is effective under dirty conditions allowing one-step cleaning and disinfection through high tolerance of organic challenge.

Rely+On Virkon is effective in killing micro-organisms in less than 10 minutes, even in the presence of organic matter. Broad spectrum Virkon is efficacious against a multitude of strains/clinical isolates (viral, bacteria and fungal). Proven effective against viral strains, Gram +ve & -ve bacteria, Antibiotic Resistant & Hard To Kill bacteria and against strains of fungi.

The mixed solution contains a built in dye indicator (pink) of activity which helps users monitor active ingredient level. Virkon 1% solutions are stable for 5 days. Good infection control practice indicates that disinfectant solutions should be discarded daily.

Rely+On Virkon powder can be applied directly to body fluid spills including urine for rapid disinfection prior to disposal.

The solution is non-irritating to skin, eyes and respiratory mucosa.
